Founders Plaza, Dallas, TX. 2006
Design of major urban public plaza space in downtown Dallas adjacent to Philip Johnson’s JFK memorial, the Texas Book Depository and Dealy Plaza. The designed plaza space is over a parking garage anchored by trellised entry porticos. Bosques of Chinese Pistachio trees flank an open gathering space with three sinuous fountains flushed with the pavement. Bald Cypress trees line the road edges and tie back into the historic city fabric.
