Bristol Cohousing, Bristol, VT 2014

A 15 unit Common Interest Community located in the heart of an historic Vermont village.  A mixture of single family homes and apartment style dwellings surrounding an interior green set into the existing pattern of the neighborhood grid.  The units are a combination of new construction and renovated iconic village homes. Each living unit has its own outdoor spaces. Screened porches, trellised decks and small garden plots are integral to every home. Community gardens and small orchards tuck into shared spaces throughout the site. Raingardens manage stormwater runoff and provide habitat and food for wildlife.

All new construction is built to Efficiency Vermont’s High Performance Energy Standards.
