Chicago Botanic Garden Bonsai Courtyard, Glencoe, IL. 2007
Design of two open air courtyards in the Regenstein Education Center for display of the world class Nakamura bonsai exhibit. A geometric pattern of granite and groundcover creates a ground plane with black granite reflecting pools in each corner. Custom designed benches with translucent, lighted glass panels display the bonsai collection.
